These Authentic Wayuu Mochila Bags are tightly hand woven by the Wayuu, an indigenous tribe of the La Guajira Peninsula in Northern Colombia. There are made from cotton threads using the crochet technique in tight double stitch. The Wayuu artisan takes between 14 to 20 days to weave it, making more than 5000 stitches to complete it. The main color of this wayuu bag is Off White and is 11 inches height by 9 inches wide. The strap is also braided by hand and has its own unique design and detail in Orange, Green, Off White, Bordeaux threads. It drops 22 inches and is 3 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
